Mission & Beliefs
Mission:
We seek to reflect the image of Christ by doing the will of our Father (John 14:10-12). We believe Christians are called to love Jesus by keeping His commandments inside and outside of His church. We profess that God has given us all we need to follow Him by establishing a plan for our worship, evangelism, and benevolence in the divine writings of the New Testament (II Timothy 3:16-17).
We are an independent and self-governing congregation with no organizational ties to any other church or earthly institution. We are determined to keep the Lord’s church separate from unscriptural involvement in secular, political, social, and recreational activities, for we desire to wear no other name but Christ’s.
We trust in Jesus’s promise and power to save and strive to live every moment in the peace of that great hope (II Peter 3:9, John 15:9-11). Our wish is for you to join us in the joyful work of the Lord (Galatians 6:9-10).
Beliefs:
The church of Christ…
was founded and built by Jesus Christ (Matthew 16:18, Acts 4:10-12).
began in Jerusalem, according to prophecy (Isaiah 2:2-3, Acts 2:1-5).
was established on the day of Pentecost, 50 days after Jesus died on the cross (Acts 2:40-47).
is the one body of Jesus Christ (Ephesians 4:4-5).
is one of several scriptural names for the Lord’s church (Romans 16:16, Acts 20:28, I Corinthians 12:27, Colossians 1:13).
is open to all who put on Christ (Galatians 3:26-28).

God’s Plan Of Salvation:
Sinners are made Christians only by Christ, only through Christ, and only in the way that Christ has prescribed in the New Testament (Gal. 3:26-27). It is through Christ’s sacrifice of Himself for all of humanity that we have God’s Grace imparted to us (1 Pet. 3:18). We receive His Grace through Faith in the fulfillment of God’s following commandments (Eph. 2:8-9, Titus 3:4-7):
- Hearing the Good News of Jesus Christ: (Rom. 10:17)
- Believing that Jesus is the Son of God: (Mark 16:16, John 3:16-18)
- Confessing that Jesus is the Son of God before men: (Rom. 10:9-10, Matt. 10:32-33)
- Repenting of your sins: (Acts 2:38, Acts 17:30-31)
- Being Baptized for the remission of your sins in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit: (Matt. 28:18-19, Acts 22:16, Titus 3:4-7, 1 Cor. 12:13, Rom. 6:3-4)
Once you’ve been baptized into Christ’s death, you are provided the blessing and commandment of walking in “newness of life,” serving God, and remaining faithful to Him for the rest of your days (Rom. 6:3-4, 2 Cor. 5:16-18, Rev. 2:10).
